Supplier Quality Manager





Your tasks:

  • Drive continuous improvement of supplier's quality, cycle, and delivery performance through structured problem solving, example: Six Sigma quality tools,

  • Coaches, mentors, develops, and at times leads training on quality methods & processes to the Team and Suppliers,
  • Plan & implement document creation, retention, format & distribution programs meeting all regulatory & quality requirements
  • Establish and maintain supplier performance metrics (cost, delivery, service, quality, innovation, social responsibility, ) together with the sourch?1:arne . ro.
  • Working with Commercial, Supply Chain and Supplieř partnéřs, Plan, co-ordinate and deliver multiple work streams that put in place the key building blocks of a tiered Supplier management strategy which supports Supply Chain optimization — ie, such as, lead times, service level agreements, performance metrics/reviews,.delivery quality,
  • Provide leadership in key process indicator (KPI) definition, structure, and the effective use of measurement data/results to drive alignment and results in multi-site organization,

  • Lead improvement projects across the organization to align business processes, ensure common process for customers, drive QMS efficiency, and to product consistent predictable results for suppliers


Ideally you bring with you:

Certifications Required

  • IATF certified auditor,
  • VDA 6.3 certified auditor,
  • Six Sigma certified black belt,
  • Core Tools specialist,
  • AIAG CQI's preferred,

Educational Background:
Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Engineering, Quality Management System, Business, Technical, Education, Manufacturing, Management, MBA, Industrial or Science

Desired experience for supplier Quality manager includes:

  • Exposure to latest development and business models including Auditing and Escalation Management,
  • 5+ years of work experience in the area Supplier Management and Development, including Team leadership,
  • Real project experience in Supplier exposition and Negotiation Skills,
  • Good understanding of processes & advanced industrial requirements,
  • Experience of change management and Lean concepts/continuous improvement

Other desired skills:

  • English Ianguage at professional level,
  • Driving licence "B",
  • Proficient in Minitab, SAP, Office,
  • Willingness to travel from 40% to 60% of time.
