Every year again...

For many years now, it has been a nice tradition for Hilite to visit St. Nicholas School in Marktheidenfeld on December 6, St. Nicholas' Day, and hand over St. Nicholas bags filled to the brim with fruit, sweets and, of course, a chocolate Nicholas. This year, Nadine Pregitzer (Human Resources) and Armin Fröhlich (Works Council representative) made the children's eyes light up with 100 St. Nicholas bags.

The St. Nikolaus School is a private support center with a special focus on mental development. In an integrative model, the school works closely with the special education day care center (HPT) in interdisciplinary class teams. The common task is the special and curative education support of the children and adolescents. "It is a special concern of ours to think of those who need our help and support. This is solidarity in action," emphasizes Armin Fröhlich. For Nadine Pregitzer, it is the lived implementation of the much-cited corporate social responsibility, which should not be prescribed, but exemplified. And this requires motivated employees: "Do good and talk about it so that it encourages others to follow suit“.

The naming of St. Nicholas School refers to Nicholas of Myra (3rd/4th century AD), a Greek-Byzantine bishop. Saint Nicholas is said to have once helped people in need and especially gave gifts to  children. St. Nicholas Day is the commemoration day for the holy bishop and is celebrated annually on December 6.
