Global Vice President Group Controlling (m/f/d)

Your tasks and responsibilities

  • First point of contact for all business issues for management and executives worldwide
  • Technical and disciplinary management of the finance and controlling departments globally.
  • Direct reporting lines to the Group CFO
  • Essential range of functions: Plant controlling, calculations (for offers and concurrently), profitability analysis (especially also according to product groups) and R&D controlling
  • Responsibility for profit / loss, liquidity, project and investment accounting as well as working capital management (especially inventories)
  • Creation of global monthly, quarterly and annual reports as well as coordination of budget planning, cost accounting and forecasting globally
  • Budget planning, cost accounting and forecasting for the Europe region
  • Further development of methods, processes (performance processes / mapping in SAP) and instruments in controlling, preferably based on SAP (e.g. CO-PA) with the aim of increasing transparency, consistency of financial figures and improving operational control, development of contribution margin accounting (channels, Customers, products, projects)
  • Comprehensive further development of the key figure system including implementation, continuous tracking, analysis and derivation of recommendations for action
  • Planning, control and pursuit of a global profit enhancement program (focus on operational excellence / gross margin) on the commercial side in close coordination with the people involved in the technical functions, including leading or moderating associated workshops and regular meetings
  • Participation in comprehensive reporting and special tasks for management and, if necessary, the shareholders' council
  • Investment controlling, evaluation and assessment of investments, ROI analysis

Your Experience / Who you are

  • Completed degree in economics or industrial engineering with a focus on finance & controlling
  • 5-10 years of professional experience in global controlling - ideally in the automotive environment
  • In-depth ERP knowledge in the area of ​​FI / CO, preferably based on SAP S / 4 HANA or ECC 6.0 and an accomplished use of MS Office applications, especially Excel
  • Excellent understanding of numbers and analytical thinking
  • Team player with high social skills, initiative, flexibility and high level of commitment
  • Business fluent English skills
  • Willingness to travel
