Area of responsibility

• Development of material prices for RFQ projects for the respective project
• Participation in price and contract negotiations with suppliers for the project
• Preparation of supplier decisions (Sourcing Committee) and commissioning the suppliers in coordination with Commodity Purchasing
• Developing design-to-cost measures and their implementation after approval
• Work together with Commodity Purchasing to ensure a global, efficient and competitive supplier pool from a capacity, quality and economic point of view
• Participation in the development and implementation of purchasing strategies for material groups, regular implementation of market analyzes
• Coordination of supplier visits, technical discussions and CVA discussions with suppliers for assigned project after coordination.
• Responsible for the pre-selection of suppliers for a project as well as preparation, implementation, moderation and follow up of Sourcing committees
• Independent preparation and implementation of CAPEX approvals and implementation of corresponding tool orders, including monitoring of delivery dates
• Responsible for the evaluation and implementation of change management for the purchasing department
