Simulation Engineer EMF





Your tasks:

• Processing of EMF (Electro Magnetic Fields) computations in the automotive environment including linear reluctance actuators and different concepts of permanent magnetic synchronous motors (PMSM)
• International cooperation with simulation and development employees within the HILITE company
• Checking the modeling accuracy and the results for plausibility
• Interpretation and analysis of the simulation results which leads to simulation driven development
• Verification of simulation results in cooperation with testing and customers
• Collaboration in the development of new components and systems
• Developing new method in the EMF-field and their intertwining to other simulation fields
• Presentation and documentation of simulation results



Your profile:

• Completed engineering degree in electrical engineering, mechatronic engineering, physics or similar
• Interest and knowledge in numerical simulation processes
• 3 years of professional experience in EMF low frequency simulation methods, preferably with ANSYS Maxwell
• Good technical and physical knowledge of electromagnetic systems
• Open-mindedness, ability to work in a team as well as a goal-oriented way of working and learning
• Previous knowledge of CAD modeling is also desirable, preferably with ProE
• Fluent in English, German is of advantage
